Primary School Registration 2022- Considerations if we are choosing the Girl's School.

Some people may be asking. 2022 is still a long way, 1 year away. 

 It's good to have some planning as we considering to place No. 2 into a girl's school or place in the same school as No. 1. 

 Some facts on the girl's School 1) it's a prestigious school with good record 2) there is affiliation to secondary school which is useful 3) it is a mission school 

 Some facts on the co-ed school 1) It's a good school, not as prestigious as the girl's school but still nonetheless good 2) there is affiliation to secondary school but it is not as well known as the girl's school 3) same school as no. 1 will allow us to have easier logistics in future. 

 It may be interesting to note that for the girl's school, it is not as easy to get in even with the phase 2A1. One has to stay less than 1km for at least 30 months in order to have a 100% chance. Here's our plan if it's the girl's school. 

=> Rent a place by June 2022. Reason is that the 2022 registration exercise has not taken into any new ruling in MOE. I have some choices:

You can see the pros and cons for staying in a condominium, cluster housing or landed. 

We do have some considerations:
- Have room for piano lessons, extra lessons/ piano in one of the room

- each children to have room

- room to space have study table, piano

- swimming pool will be useful for kids to go down and enjoy themselves. 

- we have fish, garden at our current place. A shift to landed housing will allow us to keep those unless the landlord does not permit.
